WordCamp Australia 2008 is a conference for users and developers of the WordPress personal publishing platform.
The event runs over two days and includes information relevant to both content producers and developers.
Registering for the conference makes you a member of the WordCamp Association, the Australian non-profit association of WordPress users and developers. The conference is a members-only event and members are eligible to vote in the WordCamp Association annual general meeting which is a side event of the main conference.
Lunch is provided on both days of the conference.

WordCamp Association is a non-profit incorporated association created for the promotion of blogging in Australia and to facilitate communication within the Australian blogging community based on the WordPress personal publishing platform.
It's primary function is the organisation of WordCamp Australia, an annual information and networking conference for bloggers using WordPress.
The association also facilitates member-hosted WordCamp Mini events.
